Well I just received a load of images from the chaps over at Ramshackle Games of the new box set and thought Id post a couple of them here so without further ado heres some pics of the upcoming box sets contents:
Assorted Gubbins
Im really liking the vehicles, especially this beast:
The Stinger
I will post some general bits and bobs on the gangs and organisations in my next post but until then all the best!
The boxed set looks really great and I can say that the gangs as they are laid out are really characterful and fun. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses and all look like they will play in good, but different ways.
The rules as a whole seem very solid and much more streamlined than the first incarnation so the games should play very well. In particular, the many different rolls that were in the old rules have been simplified and the broken combos removed.
Tell me about it! I am really looking forward to getting hold of my copy of the box set (just have to wait on it getting back from the printers!)
A more streamlined system with less maths is a real plus, I just hope the planned supplement contains lots of mad abilities, equipment and some new factions!
I can't wait to get the boxed set as well. It'll take longer for me because I'm over in the states but that's ok, I still need time to finish my Huntsman spider tank (you can see it with my ramshackle stuff at http://ghostnebulae.blogspot.com/2010/01/inquisition-monitoring-station-zeta-4.html)
The rulebook is really nicely done as well (curtis let me have an early pdf) and I can't wait to see it printed up and bound properly. It's as good as any other printed book I've seen from the bigger companies. The system looks really great and the planned supplement will fill things out a lot. I can't wait to see what Curtis is working on for it.
This blog has been created to cover my attempts at 28mm scale post apocalyptic skirmish gaming in the Nuclear Renaissance setting produced by Ramshackle Games.
Its going to be my first attempt at a science fiction game above 15mm scale in over a decade and will eventually cover all sorts of bits and bobs ranging from reviews to paint guides, overviews of factions and locations in the Wastelands and even battle reports.
The plan is that I am going to try to play at least one game a week over the course of the year in an ongoing campaign which will begin with the figures in the box set and slowly introduce new forces to the fray!
TREASURY
AAARGH!
I seem to have got myself an actual junktruck! My car has just cost £250 to get fixed so my gaming budget is more or less non existent for the next couple of months!
Still Ive got plenty to be getting on with and painting!
