Wasteland Scenics

Hi!

Heres a couple of pictures of my new scenery that Ive been working on recently:

Storage Tanks

Ruined Forge

Made form an assortment of bits and bobs ranging from old ink cartridges to marker pens, the scenery didnt cost me anything to build and was textured with some spray paint I picked up for a couple of pounds in homebase!

I went for a really rusty and dirty look for the whole lot as they are supposed to be remnants of a post apocalyptic landscape and are roughly the size of a CD.

While I was in homebase I picked up some other bits and bobs which will also be getting turned into dwellings and random scenery over the course of the next few weeks!

All the best!

  1. They look really nice for scenery and I'm very impressed. I wish I lived in England though so we could get together and play some games.

Do you think you could do a scenery post where you put some of your NR models in and around it to show the scale off well?

  2. Hi!

Alas I live in Worcester which seems to be bereft of any gamers other than the local GW with its herds of munchkins so getting a game has thus far proved rather difficult.

I tend to have to rely on solo gaming but do plan on nipping round to my local game club to see what its like (unfortunately its a 45 minute drive!)

I will take some more pictures with miniatures for scale!

    All the best!

  3. Brilliant stuff. They look wonderfully simple and they were free!

I'll have to remember the ink cartridge idea for next time...

  4. Great work. They look nice and gritty.

As for the gaming I too game solo as Liverpool is also low on wargamers. There is the fanatical GW mob and that seems to be it.
